For free concerts - best to look to the various Churches.

Examples

Augustiner on Josefplatz-

November 8 11 Am

This Church has some of the best music in Vienna often with well known people offering their expertise as part of regular services.

Peterskiche Peters Church on Peters platz November 6 concert

look to the tourist website

enter dates of your visit in the serch box for events - enter concerts - an entire list can be found

other Churches often with offerings also

University Church, Maltese Church , Minoriten.Stephansdom

All of the above in the city center- they often have a small billboard in front showing dates and times of concertsas you walk by - these often only advertised there.
