Salzburg in November

Hi,

I%26#39;m planning on a 1.5 day trip to Salzburg during November this year. Can someone suggest to me whether a 1.5 day trip to the city is enough?

I%26#39;m planning the following:

Salzburg Day 1

---------------

- Hohensalzburg Castle (Mönchsberg 34, 5020 Salzburg, Austria)

- Mirabelle Palace, Residence Sq, Mozart Sq

- Hellbrunn – Palace And Trick Fountains (Fürstenweg 37, 5020 Salzburg, Austria)

- Toy Museum And Historic Musical Instruments (Bürgerspitalgasse 2, 5020 Salzburg, Austria)

-Mozart%26#39;s Birthplace (Makartplatz 8, 5020 Salzburg, Austria)

Salzburg Day 2

---------------

- The Original Sound Of Music Tour

Another question is whether it%26#39;s important to book %26quot;The Original Sound Of Music Tour%26quot; online prior travel or book it at the hotel.

Hello,

What date in November will you be there? From 19th November there will be the Christmas Markets in various places in the city. The two main markets being in Residenzplatz and Domplatz. The markets are a beautiful sight, especially after dark.

One point about your itinerary: Mozart%26#39;s birthplace is at 9, Getreidegasse. The house on Makartplatz is the Wohnhaus (residence) where Mozart lived when he was older. Of the two places I prefer the Wohnhaus.

November is usually quieter in Salzburg (prior to the Christmas markets) so booking beforehand probably isn%26#39;t necessary. However, if you%26#39;d like peace of mind that it%26#39;s done booking online is a good idea.
