Recently we stayed at Hotel Wenglhof Hotel in St. Gilgen. It is just a few hundred meters from the village but it is right on the lake. The view from our room was spectacular. The hotel was very charming and clean. However, no one really spoke English and we speak no German. The hotel was so well run that the lack of English turned out not to be a problem at all. We would strongly recommend the hotel.

Thanks for sharing your experience although it would better fit to the hotel assessment section of Tripadvisor. There it can easily be found by potential visitors.

Tried to do that but since there are not any listings for the hotel, I could not figure out how to start a new hotel.
