Buses on New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

I was wondering if the local buses run on these days and if so until what time. Is it also possible to get a 3 day bus pass or or just weekly passes.Thanks

I suppose they run like on a Sunday. In cities public transportation is always available - just the frequencies are adapted.

They run as usual... on New Year%26#39;s Eve like on a Saturday (so less frequent in the afternoon, same timetable as usual during the evening), on New Year%26#39;s day like on a Sunday/Public holiday.

In Salzburg (for the zone of Salzburg city) there are 24 hours tickets (€ 4,20 from the ticket machines at larger bus stops or € 5 from the driver) or week-tickets (you can get them at tabacco shops or public transport offices) for € 12,80. The week ticket is valid for 7 days after validation (stamping).
