I found a significant price difference between city and airport pick-up.
Since I do have time, and on return intend to spend a few days in the city without a car, I am thinking of picking the car up from either Avis, Laaer-berg Str 43, or EuropCar at Schubertring 9.
Would there be a convenient way to get to each with public transit, and how would I go?
I%26#39;m not worried about the return into the city, since I have a Tom-Tom with western Europe loaded from a previous trip.

I think Schubertring would be easiest. Take Schnellbahn train S8 from the airport to Rennweg and transfer to tram 71 to Schwarzenbergplatz from where it%26#39;s a couple of minutes walk. Alternatively take the airport bus to Südbahnhof and then take tram D to Schwarzenbergplatz as before.
