Nearest train station to Hotel Unter den Linden

Hi I am travelling from Hallstatt to Krems and booked a night at Hotel Unter den Linden. Could someone tell me which is the nearest train station i should alight? Thanks

Assuming that you arrive from Hallstatt via a transfer in the city of St. Polten you will arrive at the main train station in Krems. This will be the only stop and also the end station for this route so you will have no problem.

You will find taxis immediately outside of the main exit of the station and with considerable luggage this is probably the best for you. The cost would not be large as the hotel is not a particularly long distance away.

If you have minimal luggage and perhaps with wheels, you can walk this distance in perhaps 10- 15 minutes.

Simply exit the station and walk directly north ( straight without turning as you exit ) to the first street, perhaps a 100 meters. This is the Ringstrasse and has a traffic light at the corner. ( A Spar food market on the corner). Turn left on this main street and follow it passing a relatively large park. The first street after the park is Friedrichstrasse - turn right and I think just one street to Schillerstrasse. The hotel is on the corner of the streets mentioned- colored yellow If I remember correctly.
