Ski Hire ?

Booked a weeks holiday with Inghams, can anyone advise if it would be best to wait until I arrive to book Ski equipment direct with rental shop or book it through Inghams ?

Any advice would be grateful.

Some will post their prices and you can compare this with Inghams to see which is better for you.

Some will offer a substanial discount for booking on- line before arrival.

example 15 % discount from posted pricing apparently.

If you plan to attend ski school , investigate whether they may offer a lesson and rental package- this often a good savings.

But, I usually think waiting to your arrival may be the better option - one -you can find a place most convenient to you- this helpful if some adjustment needed, some may offer depot service ( not certain of this in Filzmoos ) and usually you find pricing to be very competitive in village not not much different place to place.

You also have a good opportunity to inspect the equipment to make certain you get good quality for your price.

Sometimes your accomodation hotel has a discounted price with a specific and often close by rental place.

I would wait until you get to the resort.

This gives you more choice whereas pre-booked ties you into just one shop or a few shops.

This also gives you time to see what%26#39;s better exchange rate wise. As I recall you can still pay at resort to Inghams in sterling.
