Just returned from a fantastic Austrian vacation that included learning about Aperol. First tasted at St. Wolfgang, at Landhaus B%26amp;amp;B and then at Steinterrase. I looked around and there were at least 20 goblets full of the orange drink. Want to serve at a party this weekend. Any ideas on recipe from Stein hotel? Thanks

Yes, everyone was drinking this last week when we were in Salzburg. We didn%26#39;t actually try it but will do next time.

Aperol Spritz is a typical drink from Venice in Italy which many people drink in a bar just before dinner. Maybe you can find good recipes in the Venice forum.

I have several recipes and today hosted about 30 friends and introduced them to Aperol spritz. It was just like being at the Steinterrase....everyone was drinking Aperol and truly enjoying it!! We used 3 parts Prosecco, 1 part Aperol, 1 part seltzer, ice and orange slice! We love it and used 1 3/4 bottles...gotta order more. Thank you Salzburg...actually the waitress at the Landshaus Zu Appesbach in St. Wolfgang who said %26quot;it is very refreshing!%26quot; We all agree. Also found a great bakery here near Philadelphia and we ordered and ate 3 whole apple strudels!!! and this week watched the Sound of Music and the 40 year anniversary. Life is good.
