Transalpina train

Hi,

I%26#39;m trying to book the 08:14 Transalpina train from Basel to Salzburg on Christmas day. OBB and SBB do not have the timetables or tickets on-line yet. Does anyone know when they will be available. My other concern is that I checked the DB website and it seems to suggest that the Transalpina doesn%26#39;t start in Basel after the timnetable change and starts in Zurich instead. I need to book all my other tickets (eurostar, tgv etc) to get the best prices, but know I%26#39;m not sure whether to spend Chgristmas Eve in Zurich instead of Basel.

I went on the german rail web site and this trip is on sale there I just googled in german rail hope this helps

The actual austrian rail schedule changes in the middle of December yearly.

The new schedule is normally available near to the end of October or early November.

In prior years , often saw few changes but who knows what happens in todays environment.
