Pension Reidl

In this months Sunday Times Travel magazine, there is a review of various accomodations in Vienna for varying budgets. The budget option that they mention is Pension Reidl, www.pensionriedl.at/guesthouse_in_vienna.html It seems very reasonable for the standard of accomodation and looks nicely decorated. However there is no mention of it at all on Trip Advisor, either in the reviews or forums. Has anyone stayed here and can tell me anything about it? Looking for a reaonabley priced room for a week in April (less than €100 p.n. preferabley)

This is a lesser known pension as it is located about as far away from the major sights in Vienna and still be in the First or City Center district. It has just 10 rooms with a front desk that is not often occupied.

Do not be fooled by the rate- Most pensions will include breakfast inthe rate quoted.

The rates in this pension do nort include breakfast. This only available at an extra charge. You can probably find the cost somewhere on the website.

You can probably eat a cheaper breakfast elsewhere in a cafe.

It is convenient with a short walk to major transport lines.

You can find better located accomodations in the city center closer to the sights and more , at similar rates and including breakfast also.

Oft mentioned here on this site and on the TA reviews

Thank you so much brunoAustria, both those pensions seem to fit my budget. I found Pension Reidl on TA after a while searching, it didn%26#39;t come up when I entered it in the search bar, but it was mentioned that the location wasn%26#39;t great. Think I will try one of the two you mentioned instead. Thanks again!
