Hi - We want very much to stay at Leopoldskron but have found that not only is IT totally booked, but almost all the hotels I looked at are almost full. Is Salzburg always super busy in summer, due to music festivals and such or is it just the times I am choosing to look? I%26#39;m glad I decided to look early, yikes!

You may be looking too early, it shouldn%26#39;t be a problem at all getting a hotel room for Salzburg in June. The festival season when it%26#39;s all booked-out and prices are triple of normal is only from the end of July until the end of August every year.
I really believe most hotels might not have put their rooms online yet. Try again in early 2010.

Hello,
Vertical is right, you should easily get accommodation in Salzburg during June. The schools will not have broken up for the holidays and it is between the spring and August festivals so if anything it%26#39;s a quieter time.
My tip would be to find a hotel you like the look of and contact the hotel directly to make your booking. We always do this. Most hotel staff speak excellent English or there is usually an email address to write to. Have you tried contacting Leopoldskron directly? Contact details on right of this link:

Liz.
