Montafon

Hello, does anyone know hotel Lucas in Montafon, their website looks very flash, however I cannot find any reviews.

This hotel in the village of Gaschurn, located in an area identified as the Montafon.

It is somewhat isolated especially in winter.

You do not mention when you wish to visit.

This area more of a destination resort.

Probably best visited in summer June- September mountain wandering outdoor sports- in summer you can drive through the mountain pass nearby the Silvretta High alpine road - very nice scenery closed due to snow in winter. or winter December- middle or end of march for skiing.

Off season this village with others is very quiet and often many places are closed. Then it is vacation time for owners and staff.

I do not know the hotel, found just one review ( in german ) rated 8.4 of 10.

website would indicate a good kitchen.

Some special reason for selecting this area as other areas not far away could offer more variety.
