car rental

Hi, I am gonna stay in Soll for a week during this christmas, and wondering is there any car rental company located at Soll town centre?

We would like to rent a car for a day trip to Hallstatt and Salzburg?

Any any tour operator having tours there?

Or any bus/train?

No idea whether such a small village has a car rental company. Frankly I can%26#39;t believe it but you can try to google it. The tourism board should have firm answers on this. Honestly, I would dismiss Hallstatt as it is moreless impractical to reach from this area, while Salzburg would not be a problem at all to be visited by public transportation. Just take regional bus #4060 to Wörgl where InterCity trains (coming from Innsbruck) depart for Salzburg on a regular basis. Itineraries can be requested here:

The closest car rental places are probaly Kitzbuehel or Rosenheim. I knwo Rosenheim has at least one car rental agency, probably still National Car rental. Not so sure about Kitzbuehel.

You will like the area around Soll. If you are a skier, be sure to take the funicular from Ellmau to the the Harte Kaiser and the ski the area on top. Nice wide pistes.
