Hello,
Salzburg is a tiny city so all the sights are close together. I would give an hour to seeing the fortress and a bit longer if you intend to take the guided tour.
Mozart%26#39;s birthplace is quite small. If you were pushed for time and needed to knock something off your itinerary I would leave this house out. Mozart%26#39;s Residence, across the river, is much better, with a good audio guide. Half an hour or so inside the house is about average, I think.
St Peter%26#39;s church isn%26#39;t the cathedral but it%26#39;s well worth a visit and also the cemetery next door is a wonderful sight. I%26#39;d give about 45 minutes for those.
Hellbrunn is outside the city and takes about 20 minutes to get there on the bus (much less if you%26#39;re in a hire car). The palace itself is not that interesting inside and can be viewed in 15 minutes. The trick fountain gardens are lovely and there%26#39;s a guided tour throughout the day. I%26#39;d give half a day or a couple of hours if you%26#39;re pushed for time. The bus to get you to Hellbrunn is No. 25.
The Salzburg card would be a good buy for you as it gives you free entry to these sights:

Many thanks LizR!
I was a little confuse and I thought that the Cathedral an St. Peter were the same place.
Is it a good idea to visit the Cathedral too? How many hours I need to visit it?
Kind Regards,

The cathedral is just a five minute walk from St Peters. It is a beautiful cathedral and there is a museum there which the Salzburg card gives free entrance to. If you just want to walk around the cathedral and take in the beautiful interior I would say twenty minutes would be long enough.

Salzburg is really tiny. If you are lucky and you have great weather, I am sure you can do all these sites (they are freally close to each other) easily in a DAY... we did itall in one day (I Guess primarily because thats all we had:) but its possible.
We spent the whole day and we had a late night train to Venice.

Yes, you can do these all in one day. But check the websites and the opening hours. Although I didn%26#39;t visit all the places you want to see, here is a report I wrote about what I did in one day:

Hi,
I had been to Salzburg in late August and visited all these places that you mentioned.
It is difficult to tell how many hours that you have to spare for each location. The Hellbrunn and trick fountains are around 20 minutes by bus. Then walk up to the park entrance may take another 10 minutes. The park itself is without particular, but visit to the trick fountain is by an hourly guided tour only. Some tours are in German and some in other languages. So, and if you would like to visit this place and together with the transportation time, you should spare around 3 hours (in my opinion) so that you can enjoy it.
As to Mozart%26#39;s birth house and residence and if you love music and understand a bit more of Mozart and his family, his parents, wife, child, etc., you may possibly wish to visit both. Both places are small but the Mozart%26#39;s residence is with audio guide. Moreover, you can see Mozart%26#39;s hand writing in his birth place.
St. Peter Church is very beautiful and close to St. Stephen Cathedral. 30 minutes would be sufficient.
For the Fortress, you may wish to take the funicular up there. Walk around the museum, photo taking, and eventually walk back to the city centre, you may have to spare 2 hours.
Visits to Mozart%26#39;s birth house, residence and funicular to Fortress are covered by Salzburg Card.
