selg tour

Hi

My daughter and I will be in Vienna on 2-5 Feb. We like architecture, fashions of bygone days, royal jewels.

I have looked at Frommers walking tour 1 or the Ring Tram. Is this the best way to see these sites(except Schonbrunn)? Can you recommend the best way to do this?

We would like to see

1. Schonbrunn

2. St Stephans Cathedral

3. Imperial Palace -Sisi Museum, Imperial Apartments and the Silver collection

Thanks in advance Julie

By all means do the Frommers tour - I don%26#39;t know, but imagine it takes in the cathedral. If you like jewels I%26#39;d be tempted to skip the Silver Collection and do the Crown Jewels (Schatzkammer) instead. It is far more interesting and would fit your interests far better.

The Ring Tram is not cheap. You can do the same tour of the Ring without commentary on the normal trams 1 %26amp; 2. But the stretch of the Ring with most of the best sights on it is best walked in my opinion.

Schönbrunn Palace and grounds would be a must see for you. You can get all the information you need from their website:

Hi

I read your comment

%26#39;skip the Silver Collection and do the Crown Jewels (Schatzkammer)%26#39;. Where are the crown jewels located?

Thanks Julie

The Ring Tram is a scam. Better combine the regular tram lines 1 and 2 which both serve a %26quot;half%26quot; of the ringstreet.

Thank you all Julie
