Suggestions on what to do in salzburg for a 2 day trip

Could anyone advise us on the best things to catch up on in Salzburg on a 2 day trip there? We are staying in the city centre

Visit Berfen ICE Cave - 6 hours , Hallein Saltmines 5 Hours, Eagles Nest at Berrechtesgarten 6 Hours.

Also you can visit Mozzart Museum 4 Hours.

Instead of a tour, I would enjoy Salzburg for a full day. Fortress, dancing fountains, strolling the old streets.

On the other day I would take an early bus to St. Gilgen and spend some time there then the ferry to St. Wolfgang. A very pretty way to spend part of the day.

We prefer to experience fabulous scenery. The salt mines are ok but for us, we really enjoyed the time spend exploring and enjoying the breathtaking views.

Definitely go to the Hellbrunn tricky fountains! It%26#39;s an easy bus ride not very far from Salzburg.

We have enjoyed the Sound of Music tour and a tour of the salt mines and Burchesgarten. There is also a tour up to Hitler%26#39;s Eagle%26#39;s nest. Be sure to take the funicular up to Hohen Salzburg- the fortress/castle on top the moutain above the city. Great views!
