Bus Innsbruck airport to Neustift

Hi - Does anyone know how easy it is to get the bus from Innsbruck airport to Neustift. It looks like I need to get a bus from the airport into Innsbruck City and then another to Neustift but does anyone know where I get this bus from and how frequently they run. Any help much appreciated. Maggie May

You wish to take the bus just outside the terminal - Bus F to the city center of Innsbruck - to stop Triumphpforte - then a transfer to regional bus ST to Neustift.

Price about 6 euro .

Buses run about every 30 minutes depending on the time of day.

Trip takes a little more than 1 hour.

Please note that the center of Innsbruck has been undergoing some renovations and extension of the pedestrian zone. Schedules and stop may change - best to check schedule again shortly before departing to confirm everything.

Thanks, that great and so cheap. The transfer price I was quoted was about £100 return. Makes it an expensive holiday. Thanks again. Maggie May

It is easily doable by public transport.

You can check the timetable at IVB (Innsbruck public transport) or VVT (Tirol integrated public transport association).

www.vvt.at --%26gt; choose your language

Stops are announced and usually shown on displays, so very easy to use.

You can buy a thru ticket (so one ticket from the first driver/ticket machine) that entitles you to use all means of public transport for the entire journey (mind: no stops allowed, only for changing the means of transport).

Single ticket is € 6,10
