In nice weather a good way to see Vienna.

Hopefully weather is good with mild days.

be prepared to pay 40- 65 euro-

40 euro or perhaps a little less for a city center tour ride about 20-30 minutes.

The longer ride could take you along portions of the Ring also.

many places to find the carriages waitin for you

Stephansplatz

Heldenplatz near to the Hofburg

Burgtheater by the Ring

Petersplatz - if construction permits

and more - so no trouble finding one - usually several waiting for you , especially at Stephansplatz- Stephansdom- no need to pre book or reserve.

If you like take a bottle of sparkling wine with you.

Driver will take your photo if you wish.

Are they all of the same quality?Would hate to think I was being ripped off..being a tourist and not having a clue!Is there somwehere in particular that is a better place to pick these up?I especially like the idea of having a glass of sparkling wine during the trip!!Should I ask for a specific route? Thanks again for all advice given.

You need not worry about that. They do the same routes in the historic centre at the same prices. St Stephen´s, Albertina (or rather, Albertinaplatz) and the Imperial Palace (on Heldenplatz) are where you can start off.

You may want to check how well the driver speaks English as it can vary. If they are going to give you a good commentary it%26#39;s useful if you can easily understand it.

Some of them are real rednecks even speaking German very unclearly! It is basically an expensive pleasure but as you are a group of four it is bearable.
